If your not doing Pay Per Click (PPC) these days then your not really doing online marketing. To do it successfully you need to either pay a company or learn by trail and error. SinceĀ I have been doing this for years now I hope to prevent some of that error.
The main thing is a strong keyword list. depending on what the purpose of your campaign is you don’t need 1000’s of keywords even if people will tell you differently. Only a handful will convert and get you traffic and revenue anyways.
Your ad is the most important thing you have in all your marketing effort. If done properly you can use these ads for everything including print and banner ads. Make sure to put your keywords in your ad. This will bold that keyword and will stand out when someone searches your keyword. Play with broad and exact match, it works in some industries, but doesn’t work in others. Also don’t forget to write more then one ad for each keyword.
Here is the majorĀ search to your PPC success. TEST, TEST and TEST. Test your ads, keywords, landing pages everything. Don’t listen to everyone because every industry is different. What might work for one person might not work well for another person.
Also break everything out as best you can. It will help you mange your account easier.
